...in with the new. New grades, new schools, new adventures...I'm very sad, excited, thrilled, and just in wonder of all that is coming up. For instance...I now have a FRESHMAN...where in the world did the time go? I also have a 7th grader now. Both of my girls will be going to new schools, in Olivia's case, very literally new in every sense of the word. She will be attending the brand spanking new Castle South Middle School. From all I've heard, it's going to be great, but many are sceptical of the new programming and format, but we'll see. As long as it doesn't affect grades, I'm all for giving it a try. That way Warrick can be better fitted for sports, academics, and all around school experience with our neighboring Vanderburgh county (even though we kill them in academics...always...LOL) Anyway, I also have a 5th grader now...his last year at what I believe to be one of the finest elementary schools around. Newburgh gave all my kids the foundation to succeed at whatever they want with positive reinforcement, firm encouragement, and strict discipline and I will forever be grateful. I will have to visit sometimes...my girls have artwork that will be displayed there forever, and also because I will miss it dearly. As I head into the chaotic world of High School, marching band, middle school/jr. high, I will be nostalgic for the days when my kids first started school. I have one more school year to enjoy my son being young, so I will cherish it. Now onto some pictures... Last day of school...Brie, and Hayley with Alyssa in the back giving the gratuitous bunny ear sign :)
Brie and Alyssa...
I haven't done this in a while.
